I know I got that email too - I actually called and Louise said that they may try and open in a different location - but she wasnt sure yet. This is one of my favorite places - what a total shame.

Have you heard they are closing ?!?!
Louise emailed everyone this morning. Their neighbor is taking legal action against them and they are unable to remain open. (Neighbor of 24 years is all of a sudden maintaining that the space should not be zoned for retail...)

Very very sad.

It looks great! I am knitting the same sweater but haven't taken pics yet. I agree that some of the instructions make ya go "huh?" But I am trying to just roll with it. The increases are to make the sweater shape outwardly like a V. You won't actually have to "see" most of the increases so you should be OK there. I'm almost done with one front....then on to the other!

Good Luck!

OMG..."F*ck the second sock syndrome" struck me as about the funniest thing that I've heard in years!! The single sock is stunning! It's so too bad about the comfort issue. Looking at the photo, is there any chance that you could just continue with the background color through the toe area (top and bottom)? Hope to see the sock in person soon!
